WORLD ORDER LIVE at Moshi Moshi Nippon Singapore Review Concerts (English)

My first review when see WORLD ORDER Live Performance for the first time after being their Fans for a long time. this review was contained so many spoilers! especially about their new formation with 6 member. for you who want to see their Live in close time better did not read these reviews and let you see their performance by yourself, just suggesting, but it is up to you, hahaha. so let's just begin!

The first line up at the first day were Tempura Kidz, WORLD ORDER, CAPSULE, and Yasutaka Nakata. Tempura Kidz was the first performer, they’re very cute, especially Pi-chan, I don’t know why I like his funny face. After their show has finished, a very big screen showed up with “WORLD ORDER” in it. Yes, the next performer were them!

1. History of Voice
As the opening action, 6 members made a formation. The choreography was same as the MV’s. It means the show will begin without Genki. The audience kept shouting from WORLD ORDER’s name came up until WO started dancing, and it only last until the song started. The audience then started clapping. It was actually not an applause because the claps were following the tempo. You got it? And yes, at the part when Yusuke started rolling, the audience became crazy, shouting and clapping for him. This was the most mind blowing part. I believe that so many of them did not know how he did that, haha. I was impressed with the audience’ reaction shouting the members’ name, like “Yusukee!!” “Joonyy!!”, but I did not know why, at that time, so many peoples shouting Tomizo’s name. The audience were super cool, meaning that WO’s big fans were watching this concert.

2. World Order
The first song was “World Order”. This song is the first song from their first album, “WORLD ORDER”. Here, we could see Genki do his action and, of course, everybody went crazy because of it. The choreography was still the same, nothing’s changed, but the cool part was when the audience started sing along. This song is the greatest among the songs from the album, it’s easy to listen for the common people to know who World Order is. “World Order” is a-must song to sing when they’re doing a live show. Even I sang along from the first until the song ended and enjoyed the show.

3. Blue Boundary
Before the second song started, Genki left the stage. “Blue Boundary” with 6 member formation started with Aki and Masato as the vocalists. Here, around 60% of the choreography changed. Having 2 vocalists did not means they’re singing alone. There was a main vocal in this formation. From the intro until the beginning of the reff, Aki did the main vocal role. The reff filled with a duet of Aki and Masato. Actually, I was a bit disappointed with the vocal, maybe it’s because Aki and Masato still don’t have much experience on singing and yeah, they didn’t sing very well so their vocal covered with auto-tune effect (Anyone knows what is that?), the vocal’s effect was like the one from “Multipolarity”. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell that from the beginning, all of the members use the headsets , not just Genki, Aki, and Masato only. But why? I will explain it later. At the end of the song, just like what they did at Zepp Tour 2014, Masato acted like a broken robot, doing wrong moves. I guess it’s his special feature at the end of “Blue Boundary”, and maybe at “Find the Light” also.

4. MC
Masato kept acting as a broken robot until Genki stepped into the stage. Slowly he came closer to Tomizo and teased him or anything like that, I did not know.
Here, Genki greeted the audience in English.

“How was the show? Is everyone satisfied? This is our first performance in Singapore!”

If I don’t call it wrongly, that’s what Genki said. And then Genki asked the audience again.

“If you don’t mind, I want to know, where do all of you come from?”

From behind, I could hear a man shouting really loud,
“INDONESIA!”

Wow, that was a fast response. Right after that, I followed him up.
“INDONESIA!”

“Wow, Indonesia!” said Genki.

After that, others started to shout the name of their own country.

“Myanmar!” “Malaysia!”, but then there are some people answering, “Singapore!”

“Hey! You are from Singapore!” Genki laughed.

“It’s okay. We are all one.” like always, he said that cool sentence.

The members were introduced by MC. Started with Joony.

“This is Takahashi Jonishi, He is a graduate of Tokyo Univesity. You know that university, don’t you? It’s famous like Oxford or other famous universities. And he loves working out. You can look at this body, full with muscles!”

And then Genki tried to hold and hang on Joony’s arm, haha. Next is Masato. Here Masato still tried to tease Tomizo, but then Genki pulled him and said,

“Oh, God. So wet.”

Yep, all of the members drenched with sweat, after they sang just 3 songs straight.
After cleaning Masato’s sweat using his handkerchief, Genki started introducing who Masato is.

“His name is Ochiai Masato, he is our Chief Choreographer.”

Ah, I just knew that his position is Chief Choreographer. But it’s different with the live report I read from a fans from Japan. they said that Masato is the leader of the 6 member formation, I never heard that he is the Chief Choreographer. Does he do a double-work thingy? As a leader of a 6 formation and as a Chief Choreographer also? It’s not strange that he is busy lately.

“He loves photography.”

after that, Masato do an act of a robot taking some pictures.

“So if you guys who wants to know his works, follow his Instagram account: @candy_law @masato_ochiai, okay?”

I don’t really certain when Genki told us about that Masato’s other account, because Genki talked so fast when he is telling about it. But it was right, @candy_law is Masato’s photography account on Instagram, it was made to share his works. So for any of you want to know how good his works is, just follow this account, and maybe you can get some inspiration from it for your next photograph.
Next, Genki introduced Tomizo.

“He is Tomita Ryuta, the youngest one among us. Last year, he came to Singapore for a vacation. He said, he wanted to swim at a pool on a rooftop.. What was that again?”

Genki asked the audience and they answered it together,

“Marina Bay Saaaaaands!” hahaha...

“He said it will be great if he can swim there.”

The member who introduced next is Aki.

“This one is Takahashi Akihiro, and you know what? He can draw a manga! All of you must know that his little brother is a famous mangaka from Japan! What’s his manga again?” Genki whispered to Aki and then replied it with another whisper.

“Ah, yes. Shonan 7, any of you read it?”

It looks like no one have read that manga yet, haha.

“You should read it!” and then Genki continued, “Oh yes! He have so many tattoos on every single corner of his body and he made it by himself!”

Genki tried to shows everyone Aki’s arm, but Aki refused. Maybe he embarassed with it. Next one is Yusuke.

“This guy here is Morisawa Yusuke and he is a good chef! Someday, he wanted to have his own restaurant. What kind of restaurant you want to build?” Genki whispered to Yusuke.

“Ah, an Italian restaurant.”

And then the last one, Ucchi.

“He is Hayato Uchiyama and his tutting skill are amazing!”

Genki didn’t introduce Ucchi as much as the other member. After Genki said that his tutting skill is great, Ucchi started showing everyone how cool his tutting is.
After all of the member introduced, the next song was ready to go into a blast.

5. Change Your Life
The intro of “Change Your Life” always begins with Ucchi’s tutting. The choreography is the same as the one from Zepp Tour 2014 concert with 7 member formation.

6. SOLO
“Change Your Life” had performed, it means it’s the time for the member to show their dancing skill. Yep, at the end of “Change Your Life”, every member did a solo dance. Just like when at Zepp Tour 2014, the order of the member, the soundtrack were same. But the dance from each member were a little bit different, like Aki, Joony, Masato, and Tomizo. But the one I like the most is Aki’s. From the beginning until the end, he danced with a smile! Something that is rare for World Order. He made everyone excited just by showing everyone his smile while dancing. I bet Aki’s fans will be increased after that solo, haha. But it doesn’t means that the other’s solo were bad. Aki won with his smile.
Every time the member did their solo, I screamed their name out loud, like “Aki-saaan!” “Joony-saaan!”. But I found a funny fact from it, only me and some friends from Japan who called their name with “san”. Formal to the fullness, hoho. At the end of the solo show, all of the members went back to stage, except Genki, and did a freestyle together and suddenly, the soundtrack turned off, followed with the members falling to the floor.

7. Multipolarity
For the first time in World Order’s history, they perform their brand-new song outside Japan. Lucky me, I could watch the full version of the choreography! At the intro, a Chinese-style soundtrack played, and all of the members do some kind of Tai Chi motion. So cool! And it matched with Singapore that’s full with Mandarin people, haha. I didn’t watch the whole of this one and I can’t describe what they really do there. But if you want to know how great it is, check out with #WorldOrder hashtag on Instagram. You gonna’ find some fan-cam video there. The rest of the choreography still the same as what they did on the MV, but at the act where they tried to remove the sealing paper from the Chinese vampire hat on the MV was weird when they did that on live show, because they didn’t have the props at that time. So some of the audience who haven’t watch the MV will be confused on this part. “What the heck are they doing?” or “What are they trying to pull off?”, just like that.
Okay, here I will explain why everyone have a headsets from the beginning of the show. It’s because on this song, everyone sang together on some part of the lyric. Not all of them, tho :

Fukanou o yume minagara
Sadamaranai mirai
Yakusoku  o kibou no chi wa
Mada mietekonai mama

And at the final reff, the order of their solo singing were the same order as the order on the MV.

8. Aquarius
I was a little surprised after knowing that until this song, they still used 6 member formation! From “Moshi Moshi Nippon” article, they said that they’re going to give a surprise debut of World Order’s new appearance, and it was this 6 member formation. “Aquarius” choreography changed around 75% by applying this new formation. The position was changed either and Aki have the center. At the intro where Genki got surrounded by the member’s hands, this time Aki who did it. And the part when Genki do a something like ninjutsu seal or anything, Aki did that too, but the pattern was different. So, Aki was the one who do the vocal.
Until the part where they do some karate actions, Masato took the center and sang at the second reff. And at the part where they do the super jump kick, everyone went crazy, impressed by just what happened. His age already on 35, did he feel no pain on the leg? Haha.

9. Permanent Revolution
Still with 6 member formation, but this time, Masato got the center! And all the choreography and the blocking still the same as the original one. Too bad it’s not the full version.

10. Find the Light
“Permanent Revolution” short version, the next one will be “Find the Light”. Genki joined the group now and back to 7 member formation! So, nothing different.

11. Machine Civilization
The last song that was performed. Their second main song after “World Order”. Every main song or the most favorite song will be putted on the first and the last. Using 7 member formation, so the choreography, blocking, vocal, and other stuffs didn’t change, but what made this one is special that finally we can watch “Machine Civilization” live!

After “Machine Civilization” reached the end, World Order’s show ended. Before leaving the stage, Genki said,

“Thank you, everyone! We hope that someday we can meet again!”.

Well, great, but not at Singapore again. PLEASE COME TO INDONESIA!

The next performer was CAPSULE! and their famous DJ, Yasutaka Nakata. Honestly, I know nothing about them, but I enjoyed their show. But I wonder why they always performing a song from another singer. Like at that time, they sang “Spending All My Time” by Perfume and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s PonPonPon. If somebody out there is CAPSULE fans, maybe you can help me by telling/explain why they always do that, hoho.
Wait, it’s not over yet! A month ago, I already knew something was going to happen after I saw Genki having a conversation on Twitter with Toshiko from CAPSULE. And it was after Genki announced that they’re going to perform at Singapore. The conversation was like :

“Genki-san, I’m looking forward for performing together!” Toshiko tweeted.

“Yes, I’m also looking forward to working with you!" Genki replied.

And I was right! They really did a collaboration with CAPSULE! But what kind of collaboration? WORLD ORDER x CAPSULE started after CAPSULE finished their last song and suddenly, from the backstage, all of World Order’s members showed up and they didn’t wear their usual suits. They’re wearing the clothes that was the same as the clothes on Masato’s picture he shared on his social media account.

Photo from: Here

They danced together with Toshiko, but the dance was kinda’ absurd, since they’re looked like they’re worshipping the vocalist, haha. Maybe because of the song, huh? About worshipping a woman maybe? I want some explanation from CAPSULE fans about this, hoho.
Masato swung a towel on the air, Joony did a poppin dance, Aki and Ucchi? They were taking a selfie with the audience as the background. It was amazing! All of the audience were shocked with excitement. After the song ended, both CAPSULE and WORLD ORDER left stage with Toshiko’s goodbye and WORLD ORDER’s members waved their hands to audience. Too bad my friends from Japan didn’t see this rare moment, but they said they saw Joony walking around the exit. Maybe he bored, waiting for WO’s collaboration with CAPSULE, so he joined the audience and watch CAPSULE’s performance, haha.

From here the reviews are finished. thank you very much for all you guys who had read it. oh ya once again, I've got helped from my WORLD ORDER's fans partner to doing the english translations, he is Zaky Anvari. we have a same dreams, that we will going to see them live concert in someday. unfortunately because of some reason at that time he couldn't see them in Singapore. but we still not give up as their fans from Indonesia! please WORLD ORDER, as your promise next you are should come to Indonesia SOON!.

  1. Hey great report;

To answer your question, Capsule perform lots of other artists songs because the DJ (not usually the singer) is the writer and producer of those songs. Of course they have their own songs, but they are more famous now for their work with Perfume and Kyary. Hope that helps :)
